Do we know what they know about us?

*WARNING THIS BLOG IS BEING MONITORED BY THE NSA

Are we really all being monitored by the National Security Administration (NSA) every time we are on the Internet or every time we make a phone call?

Well…

Our own president assured us that NOBODY is listening to our telephone calls and that NOBODY is monitoring our emails. Surely, president Obama’s credibility makes him trustworthy right?
WRONG
Our president lied to us, or our president is misinformed, either way, both scenarios are pretty bad.
So what if the NSA is peeping in our business, its not like we are doing anything wrong right? Why do people get all wild up about being monitored by our government, what do people have to hide? After all, the NSA is monitoring the US to protect the citizens, not to expose our secrets.
Is the NSA constitutional? Well there is nothing in the constitution that says the US citizens cannot be monitored or watched, but then again, there is nothing in the constitutional that says we COULD be watched.
One could argue that the existence of the NSA is a result of the 911 terrorists attacks, so the NSA’s existence and actions are justified by the prerequisite that is 911, in other words the NSA is trying to prevent another terrorism attack.
Obviously one would be furious or frantic if someone were to be physically monitoring your emails, texts, phone calls, etc., as you take part in them, but there is no one physically doing that. Perhaps that is why I am not too worrisome of what the NSA is doing.

This video makes light of what the NSA is doing but is correct… Watch it, pretty funny.
What do you guys think? Is the NSA infringing on our privacy? Is their surveillance justified? What are the implications that come with the NSA’s surveillance on us? Do you feel the NSA’s actions are affecting you or others?
